The purpose of this programme is to learn English and explore the universities of Ireland. Visit university campuses and take a look at the university you could progress to. Have fun, build your confidence and make friends in an English-speaking country. This is a special programme designed for final year students to discover the best university for them in Ireland. Students have an immersive, fun experience with a taste of student life.
Morning Standard English Classes – 15 hours Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:15
Afternoon Cultural Activities 2 days/week Monday to Friday from 13:15-18:00
Afternoon University Visit 3 days/week Monday to Friday from 13:15-18:00
Saturday: A national Trip
Sunday: Off
Note: For universities further afield than Cork such as Dublin, (which is home to 5 universities) a full 1/2-day tour is necessary in which case students will stay overnight at a hostel or university accommodation. In these cases, students will have 1/2 full days English language tuition and 1/2 days university visits. Note: minimum numbers for overnight tours is 30 students.
Beginner (A1) to Proficiency (C2)/IELTS classes
This programme allows for up to 3 courses, letting you legally remain and work in Ireland for up to 2 years (so one initial visa and renewed twice-so three in total).
