Course Overview

The objective of the 25 course is to enhance the learner’s skills to stage B2 of the CEFR.

By course end, the student will be able to interact with a native speaker with considerable fluency and spontaneity. He/she will be able to grasp the main ideas of text on both concrete and abstract topics. He/she will be able to produce clear, detailed text on a range of subjects, giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options. It is a journey from the concept of identifying the main theme of a more complex text, to carry on a conversation confidently with a native speaker and to engage in a discussion on the pros and cons of a particular topic.

Learning Outcome

At the end of the academic year, you will sit an internal exam and external one e.g. Cambridge FCE, Pearson, TIE or IELTS. The exam you are going to sit will be discussed with you at the start of your course. Some specific exam preparation classes are included in the period of 25 weeks. You will also receive a certificate on passing the internal exam successfully.
