What is the Visa?
A visa is a certificate in your passport and travel document that shows you’re authorised to land in a country.
Not everyone requires a visa but all non-EU nationals must comply with Immigration regulations.
Do I need to visa?
- If you are from a country which is part of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) & Switzerland, you do not need a visa to travel to Ireland.
- If you are from a country which is not part of the EU, EEA & Switzerland, then you will need to check if you need a visa before travelling to Ireland.
- If you need a visa, you must apply for your visa before travelling to Ireland. You must register with immigration after you arrive in Ireland in order to be issued with your student visa.
- If you do not need a visa to travel to Ireland, you should still register with immigration and/or your embassy upon arrival.
- When you complete the online application form, a staff member will contact you to help you complete the registration process. You will receive all the letters and supporting documentation required for a visa from the school. We will also guide you through the process of submitting & preparing your paperwork
