The The University Access Programme (IELTS + EAP) runs full-time over five days, Monday – Friday. On average the programme involves 30+ hours per week of direct contact time, with 15 of these hours allocated to English language and the remainder allocated to lectures, and tutorials in the other modules. 2-3 additional hours per week are scheduled to provide extra evening classes and one-to-one (where necessary) consultation sessions between students and staff.
Assessments
Assessments for all subjects will be offered in a minimum of four assessment cycles throughout the year continuous assessment, end of year in-house exams and an IELTS exam. Subjects are assessed by either written examination or assignment.
Students who have Completed their GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels or High School Certificate or equivalent qualification in their own country, but do not meet the entry requirements for university admission. Need to improve their English language before studying at a EU UK or international university entry.
